Perspective needs to be had on life inside the Communist German Democratic Republic.

The following four items should impart the space, place, and time of split-Berlin and the Berlin Wall. The last item in particular, the inforgraphic Women Victims of the Wall should be touched, explored, and reflected on. Why, though? Perspectives can be shared through space, place, and time... to specifically study gender is to read the second half of history's unfinished book.

From a perspective of isolated East Germans, living behind a military installation of the cold war, social conditions proved ripe to foment unrest by GDR citizens. History shows clearly that protest in the GDR (East Germany) arose and was an ongoing event.
